How It All Began
The Born Ready was created during one of the most tender seasons of my life — after losing my dad and experiencing a layoff that left me searching for purpose.
In that quiet space, when I discovered sewing, I decided to take a chance on something new. Buying my first sewing machine, opened the door to a creative journey I instantly fell in love with — from the very first stitch to watching each piece come to life. I wasn’t just stitching fabric; I was stitching together healing and hope.
What began as creativity in a time of uncertainty slowly grew into a passion for spreading joy, confidence, and handmade happiness from Michigan to you.
